Happy weekend everyone! Thanks for sharing this week with us, and we hope to see you again next week!
I found something pinteresting the other day, and thought how sweet these wedding date keychains are! What a cute reminder of your special day! I love Etsy, and I was so excited to find this personalized keychain on there! Check it out on Etsy, and if you aren’t following us on Pinterest, check us out there too!

On June 3rd, my husband and I celebrated out first year anniversary with a photo shoot in the heart of Savannah, Georgia. Ever since this post, I knew I wanted to do a similar shoot, wedding dress and all. The lovely ladies of Intrigue and 2hands offered the stunning fabric bouquet and boutonniere, and I found Mackensey Alexander Photography, a local Savannah photographer. After scoring a few vintage finds, including my favorites, a pair of 1930s champagne coupes, I was ready for the shoot.

I wanted the pictures to reflect a chic, yet comfortable vibe, almost as if we were playing dress-up in our wedding clothes. I decided to pair my wedding dress with a ruffled cardigan from JCrew and a monogram pendant my husband gifted to me as an anniversary present. For my hubby, an undone collar and dressed-down pants gave a relaxed look. We toted all of the vintage goodies (including many pieces from our own home) into Savannah’s iconic Forsyth Park, laughed, played, and had an altogether great time.

All-in-all, it was a dream come true to work with such wonderful vendors, and recreate the happiness we felt on our wedding day. I would recommend doing a first anniversary shoot to anyone, because it is so much fun to relive all those happy memories.
I couldn’t say thanks enough to the vendors that contributed:

Last week, I stopped at a Farmer’s Market and bought fresh peaches. Since then, I’ve been trying to incorporate into as much as I can! So far I’ve made peach puff pancakes, roasted peaches with brown sugar and cinnamon, and peaches and cream smoothies. Then, I saw this gorgeous summertime post on Style Me Pretty featuring some gorgeous peaches. This sweet fruit is perfect for summer weddings in every way! In the food, cake, and even as favors! I love the idea of peaches in everything!

I love this shade of rich brown. With a hint of red in it, chestnut can definitely work in the summer when paired with lighter colors. It also works as a great color to transition into fall with!

On June 3rd, my husband and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary with a photo shoot in Forsyth Park in the heart of historic Savannah, Georgia, which is our new home. With the help of some gorgeous floral details by Intrigue Design & Decor and 2hands Studios, along with the ethereal photography of Mackensey Alexander, I was able to style a vintage and romantic shoot to celebrate. All the details will come later with our own post, but for now, here is a sneak peek! And please, check out the feature on Style Me Pretty, and let us know what you think!

Summertime makes us think of soft sunsets out in the wild west, and as we were dreaming of cowboys, boots, and riding off into the sunset, we dreamed up this western inspiration. Enjoy!
