Hamilton Photography recently captured this gorgeous Annapolitan Wedding that is simply joyous. When looking through the different images, I couldn’t help but notice how in almost every single photo, the bride and groom are beaming! It’s obvious that these high school sweethearts are head over heels for each other as much as we are for this wedding! The regal Naval Academy Chapel set the scene for this military wedding (we’re suckers for a man in uniform!) and the bright pink peonies by Intrigue Design & Decor set off beautifully with the bright whites. Some of my favorite details? Bright white milk glass, of course (look familiar?), vintage details, and wide smiles on the bride and groom’s faces!

The soft flickering candlelight is peaceful and romantic. One of the simplest additions to my wedding reception that really made a huge impact was the multitude of candle votives flickering in windows and on the tables. Especially in winter weddings, candlelight can add warmth and beauty to any room!

We have lots of favorite blogs here at AB, some of which are listed in the right sidebar. Recently, when perusing one favorite, The Wedding Chicks, we came across this gorgeous photo shoot of a couple on their first anniversary. Here’s what the ladies at The Wedding Chicks had to say about this shoot:
“We have a lovely one-year anniversary setting dreamt up by The Bridal Tree. Showing how one couple had a simple yet magical one-year wedding anniversary. She put the dress back on, he put his suit back on and they had an intimate wedding occasion for two in their back yard, complete with cutting the top of their wedding cake.”
I absolutely love this concept. I can absolutely see a couple throwing on their wedding get-up and posing in a completely relaxed setting to reflect on their wedding memories. I definitely see this becoming a trend! Check out some of the gorgeous pictures below!

Putting together this post, I found that Maggie and Dave’s wedding is natural and romantic. There is something so effortless and beautiful that shines through their gorgeous photos, by Our Labor of Love Photography. I love their colorful flowers and details by Intrigue Design & Decor and Michele at Green with Envy Events.

Wintergreen…not a just a flavor of minty gum! A beautiful, deep, foresty blue-green. The green of freshly plucked spruce or pine. A gorgeous hue for a wintery wedding!
